All wolves age, and time does pass in our roleplay. Please follow this guide for aging your wolf and for certain time-passing!
AGING
Wolves usually live between 12-14 years of age and follow the general 'moon' monthly concept. Each week represents one 'moon' or a month. Therefore, you should age your wolf up one month each week.
MATERNITY
Wolves have pups, but let's face it, they don't get pregnant and give birth all in the course of a day. Wolves have a gestation period of about 60 days before giving birth, so we require your wolf to be pregnant for AT LEAST 3 REAL LIFE DAYS! It is preferred to be more though your wolf should not be pregnant for more than 10 days.
Females also must recover from their birth, and this will take at least 1 real life day.
Mothers are required to be with their pups for at least 1 real life week before returning to their duties.
GETTING A MATE
Wolves in the wild don't just run up to another wolf and go: "OMG let's be mates". Becoming mates takes time and a courtship process. This courtship process can be many things and will range from couple to couple, however, if you are close to a certain wolf, you must wait AT LEAST 3 REAL LIFE DAYS and know them for at least that time before coming official mates.
GOING INTO HEAT
Wolves go into heat usually once per year. We aren't this picky, but you cannot be going into heat every single day. Usually put your females in heat during Spring (which is mating season), and once during another season. You should only do this twice in a roleplay year.
PUPHOOD
Pups need lots of time to grow and play before they start their training. As a pup, you must be a pup for at least 1 week before aging into an adolescent.
ADOLESCENTS AND TRAINING
Adolescents are responsible for learning multiple lessons and growing. Adolescents should be adolescents for 2 real life weeks before graduating to a higher rank.
